SiteKiosk: Bug Fix for critical error
On kiosk machines with SiteKiosk versions earlier than 8.7 under Windows 7, the system will in most cases become unusable after Internet Explorer 10 is installed. The affected SiteKiosk versions are 7.1 - 8.6. Any Windows 7 computers that have automatic updates enabled will be affected because Internet Explorer 10 is installed automatically as part of Windows updates.

All software resellers are strongly encouraged to forward this information to the operators of the kiosks. PROVISIO has no information about the end user and therefore cannot directly inform them!

Description
The touch screen is disabled in the sitekiosk software, but the somehow the windows screen gets scrolled and/or zoomed by people touching the screen. Is this touchscreen function in the sitekiosk software not effective or is there some other way that persons could be scroling the kiosk screen. There is no hardware keyboard and the start page is a simple image fader on a web page that fills the entire screen : http://www.mapleviewcentre.com/pinterest-boards/

<touchscreen enable="false"> just applies to the onscreen keyboard of SiteKiosk (Touch Screen support = you can activate an on screen keyboard) but not to the touch screen functionality of your monitor. The touch screen itself will be installed and configured on Windows. You will need to check the touch screen configuration on Windows and if those settings can be disabled. These settings maybe also user dependent.
