SiteKiosk: Bug Fix für kritischen Fehler
Wenn ein Kiosk-Rechner mit der SiteKiosk Version 7.1 - 8.6 unter Windows 7 betrieben und der Internet Explorer 10 installiert wird, ist das System mit großer Sicherheit nicht mehr benutzbar. Unter Windows 8 tritt dieser Fehler nicht auf! Sobald die automatische Update-Funktion auf dem Windows 7 Rechner aktiviert ist, wird der neue Internet Explorer 10 selbständig installiert.

Alle Händler und Wiederverkäufer werden dringend aufgefordert diese Informationen an die Betreiber der Kiosk Systeme weiterzuleiten. PROVISIO hat keine Informationen über die Endkunden und kann daher nicht direkt informieren!

Dear Support,
I'd like to know if it is possible to authenticate user throught ldap or shibboleth, so they can surf only after authentication.

Hello,

These authentications have nothing to do with SiteKiosk but with Windows user authentication (LDAP).

For using LDAP you need to use corresponding Windows user accounts.
You can e.g. configure SiteKiosk not to automatically login but to start automatically when any Windows user does login (Customized Startup Options http://www.provisio.com/helpconsole/SiteKiosk%20Help/en-US/default.htm?select_starting_mode.htm)

To logout the Windows user when the user of the terminal does use the Logout Button of SiteKiosk you e.g. can activate the logout navigation and implement a SiteKiosk Object Model command in the html file/page that is called then to logout the Windows user:
