Support Request: Screen Rotate from Portrate to Landskape

Description

Hello Dear Support!
We Support 12 Site Kiosks in Spice shopping Center.
We use site kiosk software on Intel NUC PC with 42" Screens and Touch Screens in Portrait mode,
but there is one problem, when we press Ctrl+Alt+F8 on that moment Screen Rotates to Landscape mode.
Sometimes screen rotates itself after restart.
Is there any Solution, to keep screen always in Portrait mode ?

Hello,

SiteKiosk has no function or feature to rotate the screen so this issue applies to the software for your graphics card.
e.g. http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-016829.htm

There are 2 solutions for this:
1. You check the graphic cards settings (e.g. with any utility that is installed for it) and disable the screen rotation option (or even prevent to load the utility on Windows startup – msconfog.exe).
2. You block the corresponding key combination in SiteKiosk (-->Access/Security-->Block system critical key combinations-->Settings):
http://www.provisio.com/helpconsole/SiteKiosk%20Help/en-US/default.htm?access.htm#onefour

But in second case make sure not to use the key combination you block for exiting SiteKiosk:

1. Turn off Screen Rotate is bad idea because to get Screen in Portrait mode you need rotate to 90 degrees

2. I choose 2nd option: uncheck Intel Display Service is msconfig.exe, and this option really helped me on test pc

3. I did not know that when I open the Support ticket, it will be posted on a public forum
