Support Request: Certificate now installing

Description

We are using a certificate generated from our Blue Coat security device to force google safe search.

We are using the chrome browser engine.

According to http://devblog.provisio.com/post/2016/03/21/Using-Self-signed-Certificates-in-a-SiteKiosk-Chrome-Browser-Skin.aspx, we need to delete the file SiteKioskNGCef-CA.perm in order to get the certificate file to regenerate. However this file does not exist on the kiosks.

I have followed https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/wcf/feature-details/how-to-view-certificates-with-the-mmc-snap-in to view the certificates on the machine and have verified that the certificate that we are trying to add is present.

Is the fact that SiteKioskNGCef-CA.perm does not exist a problem?

I can provide configuation files as needed.

Is the intended behavior occuring by forcing google safe search? It should only cause an issue if that file is there since the certificate list would not update. If sitekiosk is working correctly then there is not a problem with it not being in that location.

I have updated the title to make the issue clearer.

The problem is that we can see the certificate in the microsoft utility and it looks to be installed correctly, but it is not working from within SiteKiosk.

We have verified that the certificate works outside the sitekiosk environment.

Yes, the intended purpose of the certificate is to force safe searching for google, bing, yahoo, youtube etc.
