Support Request: SiteKiosk Not displaying reCaptcha correctly.

Description

SiteKiosk Not displaying Google/Chrome reCaptcha correctly. We are up for renewal and may be looking for another Kiosk solution. Our constituents are extremely frustrated when attempting to use the solution since the solution does not work properly with the latest Chrome browser version and payment processing security compliances.
SiteKiosk Forum does not provide a long term solution, workarounds can open security risks.
Any updates on the latest release bridging this security gaps would be very helpful.

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. SiteKiosk Classic is currently supported with Chromium updates at reasonable intervals. The current version is 9.9.6744 with Chromium (CEF) 118 - https://www.sitekiosk.com/sitekiosk-classic-windows-version-history/

Upon testing, this Google ReCAPTCHA API demo site works with the current version -
https://google.com/recaptcha/api2/demo

There may be other factors why the ReCAPTCHA is not working with that particular website. You can share the web link (where the issue occurs), SiteKiosk configuration and logs by email to support-america(at)sitekiosk.com , referencing this post.

- Configuration - C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\Config (*.skcfg files, ignore *.skcfg.local)
- Log files - C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\Logfiles (yyyy-mm-dd.txt files)
