Support Request: Unable to progress through CAPTCHA code on Sitekiosk browser

Description

Are there any issues whenever entering CAPTCHA codes on the inbuilt browser through SiteKiosk please. It continues to state invalid CAPTCHA. Please try again, even though we are entering this correctly.

Hello,

There is no known issue and the SiteKiosk Browser just does use the Internet Explorer Webbrowser Control of the installed IE version

Therefore first make sure that it works in Internet Explorer.
Then you may test it in “Run once” mode before starting SiteKiosk in “Auto Start” mode.

You also can try taking SiteKiosk out of the user agent header in case the site is performing some type of browser identification. To do this, open the SiteKiosk configuration tool and go to >Basic >Start Page & Browser >Advanced and uncheck the box labeled Add SiteKiosk to use agent header.

Hi, I tried what you recommended all to no avail I'm afraid. We are running Sitekiosk on Windows XP using IE 8 so expect that to be the issue. Will look to upgrade to Win 7 and retry. Any further problems, will raise.

Hello,

As Windows XP is out of support I would also suggest updating first.

SiteKiosk on Windows XP is generally out of support.
As the Microsoft support for Windows XP has ended since April 2014, this system is no longer officially supported by us.
You can still install the SiteKiosk version 8.8 on Windows XP and continue to operate under Windows XP but problems concerning our software must be reproducible on current operating systems like Windows 7 / Windows 8 with the current version of SiteKiosk.
