Hello,

You may first check the SiteKiosk logs stored at “…\SiteKiosk\Logfiles” (look for the time span the problem occurred).

If any navigation is blocked by the Surfing Area settings you will e.g. see a log entry like this (with the URL that is blocked):
"According to the surf area rules the navigation to ... was canceled".

Then check the Surfing Area settings (or set them back to default before restricting the access again).
General information about the Surfing Area settings here:

Hi thanks for the swift reply again its all sorted now thanks

on another quick question iv been asked by a client can the sitekiosk software if designed like a virtual reception can it send a text at the click of a button to some employee in the building to let them know there appointment has arrived

so say I went into reception I find the person on the screen im here to see I press a button next to there profile that simply says let them know im here and it will just send a text to there mobile to say your appointment is in reception

Hello,

SiteKiosk is a (secure kiosk) browser for displaying content.

There are some basic skins (e.g. Start Screen or Portal Startpage) where you can create a start page containing links (to URLs or Programs) but this is more a requirement for a web server / content management system.
