How is the printer connected? Directly via USB? Try unchecking the box labeled "Enable printer monitoring" in the SiteKiosk configuration tool under >Basic >Print.

Yes the printer is attached using the USB cable. But I would like to limit the amount of prints wouldn't this disable this feature?

Yes it would. Please try it as a test and let me know the results. Did you uncheck the printer monitoring feature "Keep printer paused when quitting SiteKiosk"?
