Support Request: Not Receiving emails

Description

Hi, I have setup a profile for my customer so that he can receive fault report emails for the sitekiosk software on his tablets. I receive the report emails but he doesn't. The screenshot is attached from his site remote profile. Any idea where we are going wrong?

Hello,
the mail server used by SiteRemote does not show an error message delivering to the address stated in your screenshot. That means the receiving mail server accepts that message. What that mail server is doing with it, is beyond our influence. Your customer should check his spam folder, spam filter settings and/or talks with his IT department.

HI, thanks for the feedback. He is receiving the test email but nothing further. Even my alert emails go in spurts, some days there are a few and other days only 1 or 2 but not every 15 min as required. Any ideas on how to achieve this?

Hello,

As the mail server does not show any error message delivering e-mails to the e-mail address displayed in the screenshot the issue applies to the mail server receiving the e-mails.
Your customer should check his spam folder, spam filter settings and/or talks with his IT department.

That the test e-mail comes through does not mean the mail server of your customer does not classify other e-mails as spam.

General note:
The alert e-mails will be sent when the alert occurs but not in regular intervals.
You may also check the setting how often you would like to be alerted before your next log in (at the end of “Notification options for results”).
The default setting is “Always, for every error” with “Limit the alert frequency” to 5 notifications per hour.
