Support Request: Print Option

Description

Print option button does not work when site kiosk is running. It only prints the PDF map file and not the interment info. It works fine on a PC without Site Kiosk.

Are you referring to the SiteKiosk Print button in the Browser toolbar of your selected Skin? Or are you referring to a print button specifically on your website or application?

Is there a difference in behavior when starting SiteKiosk in "StartOnce" or "Autostart" mode?

It's the print button specifically on our website/application that doesn't work in SiteKiosk mode? The behavior is the same when starting SiteKiosk in "StartOnce" or "Autostart" mode.

You mentioned that it works fine on a PC without SiteKiosk. Have you tested printing outside of SiteKiosk on the affected PC?

For example, Exit SiteKiosk on this computer and try to print the same document while logged into your Administrator Account on the computer.


Please also check the SiteKiosk log files for any errors at the time the issue occurs:

Checking the SiteKiosk log files:

- Open your configuration wizard (Start > All Programs > SiteKiosk > Configure SiteKiosk)
- In the tree view on the left, click on "Log Files" (Basic > Log files)
- Click the "Current log file" button.


To activate the log output window to see what's happening on the backend:
- In your configuration wizard, navigate to Basic > LOGFILES
- check "Show output window for testing"
- Start SiteKiosk.
