Support Request: Chrome engine cannot print our pdf statements
Please see attached pdf I created for full problem, including descriptive screen shots and an example print.
First we are a credit union and we have two kiosks in every branch location where members can browse our website and log into online banking. Each PC has a dedicated printer attached so if they need to print out information from our website, or perhaps their bank statement, they can do so.
We would like to use the chrome engine in SiteKiosk because we can customize the toolbar colors. The IE Metro skin works but its a little large and dark. When using the Chrome engine, and a member logs into their account, if going to statements and picking last months bank statement for example, it shows in a frame on our online banking site, per our vendor. It works great on mobile devices, tablets, all of the major PC browsers, EXCEPT site kiosk when it comes to printing. The print icon is moved from the right to the left and instead of printing the PDF, it prints the surrounding webpage with a blank square in it. In the IE engine the print button fades in a center set of controls as long as the PDF window has focus and there is mouse movement. This print button works.
Is there any way to get it to work properly in Chrome like it does when using Chrome on the exact same workstation outside of Site Kiosk? If not can an enhancement request be put in? We are about to purchase two more licences for another branch office, and at least two more next year for yet another new branch office. I'd like to be assured that these purchases help fund the development of these features. Thank you for your time and assistance in this matter.
