Support Request: Popup blocked?

I'm having some trouble running a web-based application. When I click the "Start Program" button, a new small window pops up and says access denied.
It looks a lot like a popup. I know that the site needs to be able to run a small little download in the background of an .exe file, but that's it. I've tried every solution I have found here, but nothing has worked.
I have a picture of the error as well, and also the direct link to the download.

In regards to the log this is about the protocol “langlodesignerv4” that is used with that link.

As SiteKiosk is a secure browser will not allow all protocols by default (SiteKiosk only allows certain protocols / schemes by default).
But you can allow that protocol by editing the SiteKiosk configuration file (…\SiteKiosk\Config\YourConfig.skcfg) e.g. with Notepad.
Search for the line:

<schemes defaultallowed="false">

Below that line you can add the required protocol with adding a line like this:

<scheme name="langlodesignerv4" desc="web-based application" allowed="true"/>

- On Windows versions with UAC activated (7/8/10) start the editor you use to change the SKCFG settings as Administrator (Run as Administrator) to be sure that you can save the changes (because of UAC).
- On Windows make sure that the default application you want to open is configured for these protocols (Control Panel-->Default Programs->Associate a file type or protocol with a program)

Does this work for the Chrome skin as well? I can't use IE because of some compatibility issues.

this scheme setting also applies to the Chrome Browser Skin.

I added the string, but when I now tried to access it, I got a new error.
It opened the new webpage, but it says "This webpage is not available". Error: ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME

you need to make sure that the default application you want to open with this protocol is configured on WIndows.
You may fist test this in "Start once" mode (in the Windows user accoutn where it works outside of SiteKiosk in Chrome).
