In general		SiteCafe

	Installation The installer already contains all necessary components including the database. You will be taken through every step of the installation process.
	Configuration tool The included configuration tool will guide you through every step of the software configuration. No programming skills required.
	Database The "Microsoft® SQL Server Express" database is automatically installed along with the client software. You can also use other databases such as MS SQL2005.
	Database backups The Configuration Tool can be used to schedule automatic backup times for the database.

SiteCafe manager

SiteCafe

	Managing user accounts Use the SiteCafe Manager to conveniently manage all user accounts, such as adding funds, change data records, and view all transactions made on accounts.
	Managing pre-paid code lists Use the SiteCafe Manager to create and manage new pre-paid PIN code lists. The export function transfers code lists to different file types for convenient printing.
	Languages Choose from 10 different languages to be displayed in SiteCafe Manager at runtime.
	Remote controlling individual terminals Use SiteCafe Manager to send commands to individual client terminals (e.g. add funds, end session, reboot machine, etc.) from a central location.
	Remote controlling all terminals You can also send certain commands to all machines at once.

Staff management

SiteCafe

	Staff management The Configuration Wizard allows administrators to create and manage staff member information.
	Logging on/off A user name and password are required to access SiteCafe manager. User names and passwords with different administrative privlidges can be setup for all members of your staff.
	Access rights Multi-level security system assigning access rights to administrators, managers, and regular members of the service personnel.

Reports & log files

SiteCafe

	SiteCafe log files SiteCafe records all processes in a .log file, stored under "Logfiles" in the installation folder on the local drive.
	Sales statistics Create sales statistics reports, which are divided into cash sales and session sales, for a chosen time period. These sales statistics can be exported to XML files.
	User statistics Create user statistics reports evaluating login information for users during a chosen time period. User statistics can be printed or exported to XML files.
	Registry of Internet users In some countries, such as Italy, operators of public-access Internet computers are required to collect personal information from every user and save it to a separate registry. SiteCafe creates this registry automatically.

Charging options		SiteKiosk Client SiteCafe Client HotSpot Module:

	Pre-paid PIN codes Pre-paid PIN codes are anonymous user accounts that are used to manage a customer’s available credit. Users purchase a unique pre-paid PIN code which they will use for authentication to access the client terminals.
	Ticket Station Use the "Ticket Station" module to set up an automated ticket station for prepaid PIN codes. The software is usually installed on the same computer that also runs SiteCafe Server. You will also need a receipt printer as well as a compatible payment device, such as a coin acceptor.
	Payment in Advance Staff members can unlock a terminal for a certain period of time, in exchange for payment of the usage fee. SiteCafe can be set to accept payment in advance.
	User accounts User accounts can be created for each customer and are used to manage a customer’s available credit. Customers are granted access to the kiosk terminals by entering their account user name and password.
	Charging for WIFI Use the HotSpot module to charge users for using your WIFI access.
	Payment devices SiteCafe supports all payment devices compatible with SiteKiosk.
	Zone rates Allows charging different rates for different URLs.
	Happy Hours The Daily Rates feature can be set to define different pricing rates for different days and time periods.
	Charging for services In addition to the regular usage charges for the terminal, extra charges can be included for services such as printing, CD burning, downloads, Video Mail, etc.

Configuration

SiteKiosk Client SiteCafe Client HotSpot Module:

	Configuration tool All clients have access to a configuration tool which guides the user step-by-step through the different settings.
	Fix Start Page SiteCafe uses a specific Start Page that is based on HTML. The operator can adjust this specialized login page to his or her individual needs.
	DriveBack technology Any changes made by the user are only temporary. The PC will be reset to its original status at the end of every session.
	Custom Start Page Unless you use SiteKiosk, you will not be able to use any custom start or Web pages.
	SiteKiosk features Features such as the content filter, touchscreen, Remote Management, File Manager, video e-mail, Download Manager, favorites, e-mail, etc. are only available to the SiteKiosk client.
	My account Users can select the My Account option to view their current credit amount and their user profile.
	Client log files All SiteKiosk clients record all processes with second-precise timing. The log files will allow you to keep track of all processes performed on the terminal and will help you spot possible errors.
