Hello,

Do you mean you want to use touch screen gestures within the SiteKiosk browser?
Generally you just need to make sure that it is installed and supported on Windows.
Then it also can be used in the SiteKiosk Browser (like with every other application installed on Windows)

Dear Michael,

Thank you for your quick reply.

Is there a software solution to this issue with touch gesture, when you say that it can bee installed.

As a illustration to my question you can see this to examples.

This one use regular scroll as on a website with the scrollbar on the left:
http://www.visit-faroe.com/monitor/lists/rib62/misc/vis_artikel_regular_scroll.asp?id=54

With this one, the user can use the finger to scroll, try eg. to click and hold the mouse button down to scroll:
http://www.visit-faroe.com/monitor/lists/rib62/misc/vis_artikel.asp?id=54

I hope that this helt in explain the issue.

I have found the script "Hammer.js" which simulate the touch gesture after I sent you this support ticket.

But is there an other way to do this then using eg. scripts like "Hammer.js"?

Hello,

>>> Is there a software solution to this issue with touch gesture, when you say that it can bee installed.<<<
This does not apply to SiteKiosk but to Windows. What I have meant is
If you e.g. have a touch screen installed on Windows you can use it with all applications started in Windows:

If the script / the function works in the Internet Explorer is also should work in SiteKiosk.
JavaScript is allowed by default (-->Access/ Security-->Allow Java & VB scripts).

If you want to test it in the Internet Explorer Webbrowser Control (that the SiteKiosk Browser does use) without always starting SiteKiosk you can use this little test browser:
http://www.provisio.com/Download/beta/WebbrowserTestApplication.zip
Just download and unzip. Then you can start the EXE without installing anything.

Dear Michael,

Thank for the browser I think it will come in handy for test ;)

We are using Windows XP Pro and as far as I know it do not have the touch feature unfortunatally.

Until we have found something better, we just have to use the script instead.

I tought you might now or have some experience with some way to get the touch gesture feature on eg. a website.

Hello,

SiteKiosk can be used with tough screen gestures if you have a touch screen installed and configured on Windows.
