If you are running SiteKiosk 9 or higher, you can switch to the Chrome browser option and check the option to ignore certificate errors in the SiteKiosk configuration tool under >Basic >Start Page & Browser >Chrome Browser >Customize >Settings then check the box labeled “Ignore certificate errors”.

To try to resolve this using the IE based skin in SiteKiosk, open IE then go to Internet Options and click the Advanced tab. Scroll down and uncheck the box labeled “Check for publisher’s certificate revocation”. Test in SiteKiosk Start Once mode. Additional steps may be necessary for that in Autostart so only test in Start Once mode under the same Windows user account where you checked the IE setting.

We are running SiteKiosk 8.91.3042, and IE 11.0.9600.
While logged in as SiteKiosk Restricted User (with System Security Manger unprotected) or administrator, the IE’s “Check for publisher’s certificate revocation” box is already unchecked. Same for “check for server certificate revocation” and “check for signatures on download programs” boxes.
We are not getting the Security Alert pop-up while logged in as SiteKiosk Restricted User (with System Security Manger unprotected) or administrator.
But I’m still getting the pop-ups after starting SiteKiosk. We have over 140 machines and this is very annoying for our users.
Please advise.
Thank you,
Bertrand

I recommend updating to SiteKiosk 9.5 and utilizing the Chrome browser option. This option allows you to ignore certificate warnings. I was not able to replicate the issue with the sites you mentioned so it is possible something on your network is not allowing the SiteKiosk browser to check the certificate revocation list.
