Dear support

We have sitekiosk implemented and would like to know if there is a possibility to add a terms and conditions text and acceptance before logging in.
If yes could you send me the procedure?

Hello,

SiteKiosk primarily is a secure internet browser designed to protect the Windows system against direct user access with the possibility to charge for internet surfing (or limit the usage time), using programs, burning, printing, downloading and sending multimedia e-mails.

For displaying the terms & conditions you have several possibilities:
1. You add code to your start page which opens a new window with the terms and conditions.
This is also possible with usual HTML and JavaScript coding.

2. You can create an html page / file where you display the terms & conditions and additionally add a confirm button that navigates to another URL.
Then you configure the html page / file with the terms & conditions as Startpage in SiteKiosk and display it in full screen (Fullscreen Mode for certain URLs).
The only way to leave that page is the confirm button that navigates to the other URL not displayed in full screen.

3. If you want to show an extra terms of service dialog for SiteKiosk users you may also have a look at the script example at this request (page 2):

With this example the dialog will appear at SiteKiosk startup, after the screensaver deactivates and after the logout button is clicked.

4. If you use the SiteCafe Payment Option you may have a look at the SiteCafe Startpage Template (-->Start Page & Browser-->SiteCafe Startpage-->Customize-->Terms of Use) that can be used in combination with the SiteCafe Payment device:
