Support Request: Folder redirection Digital Signage
Reproduction
Edit Campaign | Add Media content
We want to use Digital Signage but we have problems in uploading files.
I found 2 articles from almost 3 years ago describing my problem and that this is caused by folder redirection.

We use folder redirection and when I test whiteout folder redirection everything works fine. We use %HOMESHARE%\Documents which translate a path to an UNC path. When I use folder redirection to a network drive mapping then it works. So the problem is that the Digital Signage add-on does not support UNC.
Your solution is to turn off redirection and this no option for us.
On 9/10/2014 7:39 PM PROVISIO\ward posted the following: This issue applies to Microsoft Silverlight which is used for the Digital Signage feature so there is unfortunately nothing we can do at this time. It is planned to switch to HTML5 techniques in the future but this will take a while. We do currently have a lot of corporate customer that are using SiteRemote digital signage in their environments. Now more than two years later it’s still not switched to HTML5.
When will there be solution for this problem?
