Thank you for your inquiry. Can you confirm that this is a SiteKiosk update or brand new install? What version are you trying to install (e.g. Ver 9.7 Build 5324)?

I found the answer. It was a new install. It appears that during installation preparation something was placed on the workstation by the installation that caused the problem. I checked for any mention of SiteKiosk in the registry... nothing and whether the SiteKiosk folder had been created... again, nothing.

I located the Microsoft "Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter" (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed) and ran it. It found a reference somewhere on the machine to SiteKiosk. I had the program correct the issue and reran the SiteKiosk installer. It ran fine.

Great work and awesome find! I will make note on the usage of this tool for possible future instances. This is highly unusual for the installation to be prevented but we cannot predict every scenario to due many variation of computing environments.

That fix didn't work for me. I'm installing on a new windows 10 machine. I'm going to bring over my configuration from a Windows 7 machine once I get this setup.
