Support Request: SiteCafe will not install on Vista

Reproduction

Get a computer with Windows Vista and attempt to install SiteCafe, you will see the error detailed below each time you attempt to install SiteCafe on a Vista machine....

Hello,
Recently I attempted to install SiteCafe on a Windows Vista machine and during the installation I received the error:

"Error 1603 Fatal Error during installation. Consult Windows Installer Help or MSDN for more information"

After closing the error window the SiteCafe installation notifies me that the installation could not complete and the system has NOT been modified. I tried to install a few times, after a fresh boot, also by starting the installation routine by right clicking the installation file and choosing "Run as Administrator", each time I received the same error listed above. I am reporting the problem in hopes your development team will look into the issue and possibly find a work around for the problem or update SiteCafe sometime in the near future to support Windows Vista.

Hello,

As there is no known problem to install SiteCafe on a Windows Vista system can you please create a log file during the installation and then send this log file via e-mail?

To create a log file use the following parameters:

sitecafe.exe /V"/l*v c:\log.txt"


Then the a log file with the name log.txt will be created at the main path of “c:\”
