Client SiteKiosk 7.1
Payment - Coin machine
Free zones set on clients
SiteCafe Manager 2.1

Description

Session time is not ticking for free zones on clients which is correct. But Manager keeps the time running starting from the first second of coin put in.
At the end of session, session time on manager is longer than credited time, due to surf to free zones.

Hello,

but this is correct.

The information display in SiteKiosk shows your actual balance and the remaining surfing time.

The information within the SiteCafe Manager displays the information about the complete session duration.
This also includes the time when surfing to a free zone. The session doesn’t end when surfing to a free zone but only when logout or the balance runs out.

Thank you very much for your response. I follow you, session turnover may not match credit.
Is there a way to see how much time left for the user rather than seeing money left? So far I understand balance is updated for every 5p.

Hello,

Unfortunately this is not possible as SiteCafe e.g. doesn’t get the information to which zone the user has surfed to. Therefore it can only display the remaining balance of the user.
The balance will be updated in a time interval. You can see it in the log files of SiteKiosk.
