Support Request: MS Teams integration

Description

Hello,
I have already searched the support requests but have not found a solution. I would like to display PowerBI reports in SiteKiosk Online as a web page. To do this I have to log in to Microsoft with my MS365 E5 account. Is there a way to do this in advance (silent) so that the user does not have to do it every time?

Hello,

Saving logins is generally not the purpose of a kiosk software, quite the contrary actually (by default SiteKiosk Online deletes all temporary Internet files and Cookies on SiteKiosk Logout / session end).

However, there are several ways to implement automatic login to websites that are displayed in SiteKiosk Online.

1. Classic single sign on based on standard Active Directory (and single sign on with Azure Active Directory) is a built-in feature of SiteKiosk Online and works without special customization:
In this case you only need to start the SiteKiosk Online client for Windows in a Windows user account that has the appropriate access rights to the website (if, for example, it works automatically in the Edge browser without SiteKiosk).

You can configure the startup options to start the SiteKiosk Online Client for Windows under a different Windows user without any special customization (see below > Startup options).

2. Login to web pages with script / customization:
For logins to web pages displayed in SiteKiosk Online, a web developer can use the SiteKiosk API to influence the displayed web page.
Here you will find a PDF with the corresponding information for developers (> Using the SiteKiosk API inside a WebPage you don't control).

Furthermore, you will find a special help tool for developers (WebPageAutomationHelper), which can be used to create such a script (more info in the corresponding PDF):

Please understand that our free support cannot provide any assistance in creating custom code or customization of this kind.
If you need further support, you are welcome to ask us to program a solution.
If required, please write a detailed description to support-europe(at)sitekiosk.com, so that we can check the technical feasibility and the amount of work and make an offer.
The customization fees depend on the complexity of the changes and are usually 150 Euro per hour.

Startup options
Start the SiteKiosk Online Client in a Windows user account with full local admin rights. In the SiteKiosk Quick Start menu, click on "Settings" under Auto Start.
There, select "Auto start & shell replacement for all users" and under >"Automatic logon at system start", specify the Windows user who should always be logged in.
Then click on "Save" and press the "Start" button at Auto Start to activate this start mode.
After restarting the computer, your selected Windows user will then always be logged in automatically and SiteKiosk Online Client will be started (until you deactivate this setting in the client's exit dialog).

Thank you very much Mr. Olbrich,
I have already started the kiosk with an Azure synced account. The only thing I had to do was log in once on the machine with the user, open the Edge and log in there with this Azure synced account. Now PowerBI reports from Azure can also be displayed in the browser without re-authentication as a classic pop-up / type: web page.

Thanks for the support
