Support Request: System Security Manager questions

Description

Is it possible in the newest version of Site Kiosk to use the “System Security Manager” when logged into a domain account? At my organization I am not able to use the local restricted user account “proviso” that is created during the install of Site Kiosk. Currently the product is installed on a Windows 7 64-bit operating system.

If you require a domain user or other user than the default local SiteKiosk user, you can specify SiteKiosk to use that account instead of the default local SiteKiosk user. To do this choose "Customized" from the SiteKiosk Quick Start menu then click OK. In the Startup Options select the "Run SiteKiosk automatically at Windows startup(auto start)" and leave shell replacement selected in the drop down. Uncheck the box labeled "Settings only apply to the restricted SiteKiosk user account". Then check the box labeled "Log on automatically at system startup" to select a different user for SiteKiosk to run in autostart. Click the Settings button to enter the credentials for your domain user.

Or do you mean you want to have the Windows policies from the SiteKiosk System Security Manager set on your domain account? Basically the System Security Manager just sets Windows policies on the Windows SiteKiosk user account. Normally you domain account will set its own Windows policies already which would overwrite any other policies. Can you verify that your domain account will not rewrite the domain account settings (domain policies).
