Support Request: Chromium-full Screen Browser

Description

I work on a Surface Pro 3 and need the chromium full Screen Browser. The option is not available as mentioned "Chrome Engine Support" under http://www.sitekiosk.com/web/us/products/windows-kiosk-software-sitekiosk.
Please advise. Thx.

The Chrome engine is used in the Start Screen skin.
If you want to use it to display own web pages you currently need to use this http://devblog.provisio.com/post/2014/10/21/How-to-Create-a-Chromium-based-Fullscreen-Browser-in-SiteKiosk-89.aspx, until SiteKiosk 8.91 is available next week, which will include a chrome based full screen browser.

This works but the page is rendered completely different than in Chrome (much smaller... half the size expected.?!). Any idea what could be the problem?

Hello,

You first should check if you configured any other for the size of text and other items on Windows than 100% at “-->Control Panel-->Display”.
If it is set to any other value than 100% set it back to 100%.

In case it doesn’t help please provide the URL you use that I can check it here on a test system.

Thanks for the tip for resetting display to 100%. The Surface default is set to 150%. Is there no way to adapt this setting to the Kiosk Chromium View? If the display setting is at 150% the page looks good in chrome, with 100% it is too small.

Have a look at: http://meta-vue.ch/test/dist/
In Chrome the Font's resolution is very sharp, whereas in kiosk mode it is not.
Please advise...
