Support Request: Still need assistance with installation
Not sure why my previous ticket was closed when issue was not resolved. Support continues to tell me to do things that has already been completed. There has been no progress. ASP has been confirmed to be installed. I had to provide screenshots before they would finally stop telling me to install ASP. We have a Windows 2008 R2 server with 4 operational web sites. Before installing SiteRemote, we have added a new IP address to the server to separate it from the other web sites. We have also created a new web site outside of the default web site.. We have installed it with and without a virtual directory. We have told the installation to install on a different drive (D:) other than the OS drive (C:). None of it seems to work. Once the SiteRemote installation is running, it breaks all the other web sites on that server. After the install, they all stay broken including SiteRemote. An IISReset does not help. Restarting the server did not help. The SiteRemote installation is making a change somewhere and it is breaking all IIS websites. Can support do something other than paste irrelevant links? One link direct me to create a whole new virtual server using Hyper-V manager. First, we don't use Hyper-V in our environment. And secondly, why does it take hours to get a response when we are using email? If you don't have phone support, at least respond to your emails in a timely manner. I'm getting an average of 1-2 emails per day. Is that normal?
