Support Request: Start Screen behavior - open web link in the same window

Description

Good day!
We use a new start page as it's called Start Screen W8 UI. It's very nice till we start using an UI element "Web link". It opens a standard browser UI, which looks really ugly.
Is it possible to open a link in the same window, not in a separate browser window? Also we want to return to the start screen by clicking some kind of a home button, not by closing browser window.

Hello,

the start screen currently does not support opening links in the main window, that feature may be added to a future version. The design of the new window can be changed in the configuration of the Start Screen under Browser Skin on the left side of the Customize dialog.

If that feature is crucial for you, you can use the Portal Page instead of the Start Screen, there you can configure to not open links in a new window under Display on the left side of the Customize dialog.

Do you have any timestamps about implementation of that feature?

I understand that we can use Portal page, but it has much less features and doesn't give wow effect.

I am sorry, but there is no timeline for a release of that feature.
