Support Request: SiteKiosk fails to start

Description

Hi, after the installation and import of configuration when sitekiosk is set to auto-start the machine hangs and doesn't seem to respond to ctrl+alt f5. I have tried during normal boot and also safemode.

I'm lacking installation and configuration instructions so perhaps this is the issue. The machine is a fresh windows build with SP1 and all updates, x86. There is nothing else on machine. This problem happened while the machine was on a customer site but has been brought back to the IT department for fix. We have since rebuilt the machine with Windows 7 SP1 including all current updates and the only other software on the machine is SiteKiosk. I had no involvement in the original installation/configuration of SiteKiosk so forgive me if I'm doing something obviously wrong.

I have attached the configuration we have imported after installation.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Thomas Gibbons

Hello,

You are using an old SiteKiosk version that is out of support but if you installed SiteKiosk 7.5 on a Windows 7 system with all updates (incl. IE11) there is a known issue with auto-start and you need to install a fix.
Please check this article:

Here a description how accessing the Windows system again:
