Support Request: Excel Issue

Description

We have the latest version of SiteKiosk and I have enabled Excel 2010 as a useable application. We need the users to be able to use an add-in which is installed, so I have gone through all of the files I can see related to the add in and added them as an allowable file in the config - The issue I have is some of the Excel add-in features are greyed out.

Is there a way to specify a whole program files folder or find out why they are greyed out from the logs?

Hello,

there is no technical possibility that SiteKiosk can tell you why options are greyed out in another application. That is something only the manufacturer of the other application can answer.
To allow folder access for the restricted SiteKiosk user, start the System Security Manager of SiteKiosk and switch to the Customized view. Under Folder Access you can adjust folder access rights for the local SiteKiosk user that has been created by the SiteKiosk installer and that is used when SiteKiosk is starting in Autostart mode.
