Support Request: Auto Download screensaver movie

Description

Hi

we want to make use of the screensaver function in sitekiosk to play a video, but we do
not want it to be streamed over the internet.

is there any function in sitekiosk that automatically check a site/ftp for files, downloads them
to a local folder and then the screensaver can use them from the local folder ?

Hello,

Just put the video files onto the machine (advised folder „…\SiteKiosk\Html“) and then configure the SiteKiosk Player as screen saver to display them.

Alternatively you can publish a campaign through SiteRemote that contains the video.
Then just configure “Digital Signage” as screen saver at the client machine
The campaigns will be downloaded to the client after publishing them and then played from local store.

thanks for the replay

The video change each week so we cant manually download and change them on all computers every time.
we need to automate it some how.

But only other option is Siteremote / Digital Signage ?
