Support Request: lock screen on start

Hi,

I am setting up your software on 2 android tablets, as a trial with potential for 23 more.

I have installed and set it up on an SM-T530 without issue. As a fullscreen browser to a single website, used for sign in.
This worked without issue.

I then set it up the same way on a Galaxy Tab S2, SM-T815Y, running Android 5.0.2, Kernel 3.10.9-5939403 dpi@SWHD2420 #1 Oct 7 22;19 KST 2015, Build Number LRX22G.T815YDVU2AOJ4. I exported the config file as it is on this device and have attached it.

When I run sitekiosk it goes to an android lock screen asking for a PIN, the pin is the default 1234, even though we have changed it in the settings. upon entering the pin it then opens the fullscreen browser, which works as expected. When trying to exit it will go to the SiteKiosk lock screen asking for a PIN, which accepts the new pin we have set.

I have double checked the software is set as a device administrator, and cannot see any other android settings that should cause this. I also reset to factory settings and tried again with the same outcome.

Additionally, when it brings up the on screen keyboard to enter text into a text box the screen jitters up and down very quickly. I ssaw a FAQ on your site suggesting going to developer options and turning off the animate settings, this did not remedy the issue. Also when I hold down the power button even for more than 30 seconds the tablet will not restart. Which goes against what is said here: https://www.provisio.com/en-US/CustomerSupportCenter/ArticleDetails.aspx?ArticleID=22487

1. On some devices, a behavior can occur where the lock screen displays a few (5-10) seconds before SiteKiosk starts. There is not a setting to change this behavior.

2. The “auto login” is only active when SiteKiosk is started. When closing SiteKiosk the login screen will be reset.

3. Flicker issue
We have 3 different Android devices, including a Samsung, where the solutions described in our FAQ work to resolve the issue.
Please double check these settings.

The immersive mode setting only applies to SiteKiosk Browser but not to exit dialog or SiteKiosk configuration.
Disabling the “Windows animation scale” (recommended) in the Android developer Options always works and is system wide.

This tablet brings up the lock screen when starting sitekiosk every time, and it does not go away, I have left it for hours and the android lock screen remains, the only way to get to the sitekiosk browser is the enter the default sitekiosk pin of 1234; even though I have set a custom pin in the software, which is the working pin when exiting sitekiosk.
The device itself has no pin set.
However I just tried checking the "Disable lock screen" setting under security in sitekiosk, and it now opens fine. So this issue is resolved.

When sitekiosk is running, no matter how long I hold the power button the device will not restart. If I just push the power button it behaves as expected and turns off the screen, which is overidden by sitekiosk. Can you tell me if SiteRemote would let me restart individual tablets remotely on demand? If so then this issue is only minor.

I have enabled developer options, and window animation scale, transition animation scale, and animator animation scale are all set to "Animation Off". I have reset the device after setting these options.
However I installed google now launcher and used it instead of touchwiz, and I also I also disabled immerssive mode for fullscreen browser; and the flicker seems to have stopped in sitekiosk but it still flickers in settings. So this issue is resolved enough for our needs.

SiteRemote does give you the option to restart the device.
