Support Request: Trying to start sitekiosk in chrome with site requiring password

Description

I am trying to configure sitekiosk to start in chrome with a default website. This default website requires an ID/password which I stored in chrome. If I launch chrome directly from the desktop, outside of sitekiosk, the website loads without a prompt. If I set the default start in sitekiosk to chrome with this website I get the following error:

401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.

You will need to use the IE based skins to accomplish an autologin and script a soluition. You can automate page logins using the SiteKiosk Object Model and the IE based browser in SiteKiosk. http://devblog.provisio.com/post/2016/06/22/Using-the-SiteKiosk-Object-Model-for-Automated-Website-Logins.aspx

SiteKiosk does not use the installed version of Chrome on your computer but the Chromium engine that is supplied with SiteKiosk.

I don't believe this solution will work because the site requires windows basic authentication. The authentication is not part of the html in the page itself.

There is not a login page? Is this a single sign access control?

IIS Server requires an ID/Password when connecting the the page. It uses windows basic authentication. I would share the URL but only over email, not public.

To give you an example, your competitor has a "basic authentication" mode which does work. I just tried it in their trial software version.
