Support Request: PC Shutdown

Description

Hello,

We have our PCs set to automatically boot up at 07:30 in the BIOS and then shut down at 01:00 in the Sitekiosk maintenance screen.

For some PCs the PC is occasionally starting up at 07:30 and is then shutting down.

The log file from the previous day does not show a shut down at 01:00:

Hello,

SiteKiosk just sends an API call to Windows for shutting down the machine.
You may disable fast startup if you use a Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 system.

When Fast Startup is enabled, your computer doesn’t perform a regular shut down.

When deactivating the fast startup you may also check that there is no sleep mode enabled on Windows.

Also note:
Generally a Windows shutdown also can be stopped by any other Windows service (e.g. Antivirus).
