Support Anfrage: Sitekiosk won't end session completely



We have sitekiosk for clients to login to internet bank.
Problem is that when one client logs into internet bank and logout then another one can't do that and gets error, because SiteKiosk won't clear cache/data fully, even if we restart sitekiosk software manually, currently only thing that helps is computer restar. All the options in Sitekiosk to delete temp files, cookies etc are on if user will click "logout" button. If we test it in Chrome it works, because Chrome does that if we close/restart the browser. How we could clear fully sitekiosk cache/session data?

There is no known issue and the attached screenshot just displays an error page about a web page that cannot be loaded.

Does it also happen when creating a new configuration (just for testing)?
What information is given in the SiteKiosk log at that time?

In case you use an IE based skin you may also check to enable the option “Delete Internet Explorer DOM storage”.

The issue is that Sitekiosk doesn't clear all the necessary cache/session data like browsers do when they are being restarted.
Yes, we made totally new configuration aswell, but still got same problem.

Sitekiosk log:

and thats it.

I've tried IE based skin with all the 4 options enabled (Temp internet files, cookies, personal certificates and DOM storage) and Chrome skin aswell. Issue remains the same.

This log excerpt just shows 2 navigations. SiteKiosk tries to open a URL, cannot load it and then displays the error page. That’s it.

Generally SiteKiosk deletes the temporary internet files and cookies (by default) when you explicitly press the logout button in the SiteKiosk Browser skin or wait for the screen saver to activate.
There is no known issue and the only thing you need to make sure that the corresponding options at “Logout” are enabled (as they are by default).
Then press logout (in SiteKiosk not on the web page) or wait for the screen saver to activate.

If that doesn’t help please send the following information and files via e-mail that we can check.
- Your SiteKiosk configuration (…\SiteKiosk\Config\YOurCOnfig.skcfg).
- The SiteKiosk log “…\SiteKiosk\Logfiles” with the information at which time & date the problem occurred
- A ZIP of the file “SiteKioskNG.log” from the folder “C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Temp” ([user name] = Windows user you started SiteKiosk within)
- The information which exact Windows version you use
- A screenshot of the installed applications (Control Panel-->Programs and Features)
- A step by step description to reproduce the problem
