Support Request: Coin swallowing without applying the credit

Description

The terminal that i installed with a wh800v5 14 USB coin acceptor swallows the coins without applying the credit, so the customer loses his money without getting something in return. i changed the coin acceptor, but now they complain that the coin acceptor disposes the money back from front or swallows again.

why could this be happening?

please help, screensaver and standby options are turned off, usb has enough power, all energy saving options are turned off, what is the problem still?

Have you seen this behaviour yourself and if so please explain exactly what steps to take to reproduce it. Otherwise please ask you customer for a step by step instruction to recreate the problem.
It is not reproducible with our test systems.

hi

the problem was mainly happening or start to happen at the message box that SK shows at the last 30 seconds of the credit remaining. when that window appears and i throw in money it doesn't apply the credit and it swallows the money. i reproduced it myself so many times, usually after a reset of the kiosk the problem is solved. one manager of WH berlin told me that the problems very likely happens because it doesn't get enough power from the usb port, he advised me to use a AC adapter for extra power for the coinchecker. i bought one with the specifications they gave me and connected it. the problem still occured but not that often, so i disabled the message box that says the credit is going to expire. then the problem was almost fully solved, it happened only ones or twice in a week (this is still too much).

At last i bought another coinchecker from Phoenix Mecano, with usb inteface and CCtalk protocol. that SOLVED the problem. now i can reactivate the message box without the kiosk swallowing money. so i think the problem is the whberlin coinchecker. that surprises me because the phoenix mecano coinchecker is twice as cheap as the emp800, still the emp800 one has problems with Sitekiosk. i know now where i have to buy my coincheckers in the future!!!

Hello,

this issue isn't reproducible neither with the whEMP PlugIn nor with the ccTalk Plugin.
This kind of problem also hasn't been reported yet.
