Hello,

Generally you can test almost everything without adding the license:
http://www.provisio.com/en-GB/Downloads/Download.aspx?ItemId=1

But you can also use the SiteKiosk license on another machine when you finished the test.
Just uninstall SiteKiosk completely from the first machine (-->Windows Software menu-->Change-->Remove SiteKiosk-->enable the option to remove SiteKiosk completely) to remove the license.

Alternatively you can delete the license information from the Windows registry. The SiteKiosk license is stored in the registry of the computer:
1. Go to Start > in the ‘Search’ window, type the text regedit
3. In the ‘Registry Editor’ window, follow the path:
The 32-bit path is - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PROVISIO\SITEKIOSK
The 64-bit path is - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\PROVISIO\SiteKiosk
4. Look for "Licensee" and "Signature" - this is your SiteKiosk registration info; just delete them

Hello,

For restricting the access to certain URLs you can configure the Surfing Area in the SiteKiosk configuration. E.g. add the URLs you want to allow to the “URLs / Paths” list while you set the option “Access to other web addresses” to “Denied”.
Further information here:
http://www.provisio.com/helpconsole/SiteKiosk%20Help/en-US/default.htm?surfing_area.htm

You need to check the exact URL and protocol and may check the log file of SiteKiosk (…\SiteKiosk\Logfiles) that will state the reason/URL why a page is blocked and you compare that with your surfing area settings.

At “-->Applications” you can specify Windows applications (*.exe files) the user will be able to launch by clicking on the "Programs" button in the toolbar.
Further information here:

Starting „Modern UI Windows 8 applications“ is unfortunately not possible because Microsoft doesn't provide a way to control these modern Windows 8 Apps like it is possible with "normal" applications.
