Support Request: Screen lock no password

Description

Hello - it's been a while since I've used SiteKiosk and I didn't realize that updating a setting would actually implement it, so before I was ready and before I set a password, my computer now auto-logs in as SiteKiosk with a blank start screen and I can't change or update anything or get back into the editor. HELP!

Thank you for your inquiry. In order to set Auto Start, you need to choose a SiteKiosk password (master password works for registered versions, any password works for unregistered). There is no known setting in SiteKiosk that would cause a Black Screen in Auto Start mode. More than likely that black screen happens due to security restrictions preventing SiteKiosk from running. Enforced restrictions could be from domain settings or antivirus/antimalware software.

Once Windows is restored, if SiteKiosk works in Start Once mode but not Auto Start mode, you would want to check your environment settings (domain and other security) again.
