Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. This may be that a certain application window is prevented from being opened. You can find this activity in the logs and make adjustments in the Windows and Dialogs Management (Treatment of a Window). See Section 1 in this link: https://www.sitekiosk.com/web/CustomerSupportCenter/ArticleDetails.aspx?ArticleID=25533

Best regards,
Andre.

is there anyway to restrict user from accessing other area of the open file? I just want them to be able to access the download folder.

Hello,

Thank you for the update. Only the SiteKiosk restricted user would have default restriction on all drive letters and read-only access to certain folders. You can enforce this restriction for the alternate user(s) or if you are testing in the admin user, you can ignore this, as the level of access is different for the restricted user in default Auto Start mode settings: https://devblog.provisio.com/post/2022/05/17/Applying-the-System-Security-Manager-Settings-to-other-Users.aspx

This folder is the only default usable folder for the SiteKiosk user without drive letter access: C:\Users\SiteKiosk\Documents

Note: If you are using domain users, global or domain policies will always have priority over local settings.

Best regards,
Andre.
