Support Request: Improve printerspool

Description

For our application we use also a printer. When we give the print command the SiteKiosk printspooler will be shown. For a PDF of 7 pages it takes already couple of minutes before it starts printing. Do you have some advise to optimise this?

Or is it possible is SiteKiosk to show something like a timer so clients can see that SiteKiosk is preparing to print?

Hello,

I am sorry but there is no possibility to enable a timer display here (except with customizing SiteKiosk).

As this is not a general issue you may first check installing another or newer print driver (or even a compatible print driver from MS Windows).

If that doesn’t help you should also check this PDF outside of SiteKiosk and open the print spooler window while printing to check the size (MB) of the print out. Then it applies to this PDF document.
