Support Request: Keyboard switcher in Chrome

Description

How do I get the keyboard switcher when using Chrome as a browser?

When using IE I get the En button in the corner, when using the touch keyboard (which I don't have a licence for) it appears in the keyboard, but when using standard Chrome it doesn't appear.

My SiteKiosk is typing as an American Keyboard when only the UK English keyboard is installed.

Hello,

The onscreen keyboard of SiteKiosk (also the “TouchBrowser” keyboard) does use the keyboard languages that are installed on Windows and the language can be switched with a language button on the onscreen keyboards (independently form the button for switching the skin language).

But you need to consider that the keyboard language settings on Windows are user dependent.

For adding/checking Windows keyboard languages in the SiteKiosk user account (used in “Auto Start” mode) you will find here an FAQ about how getting access:

As the touchbrowser keyboard is a premium/plus feature, how can I get access to the on screen keyboard you mention?

Hello,

Just enable the On-Screen Keyboard in the SiteKiosk configuration:
Also see: http://www.provisio.com/helpconsole/SiteKiosk%20Help/en-US/default.htm?on-_screen_keyboard.htm

This feature is also available for testing without a valid license.
Finally you need a Plus Bundle license:

Thank you, that's what I thought.

Just to confirm explicitly, there is no way to change the keyboard from one language layout to another without buying the plus bundle unless you switch back to Internet Explorer as the rendering engine?

Hello,

The language setting does not apply to the license but to the Windows keyboard language settings (user dependent setting).

The on-screen keyboard in SiteKiosk is only covered with the Plus Bundle license (no matter if using an IE or Chromium based skin).
But you also can check the usage without a valid license by just enabling the on-screen keyboard in the SiteKiosk configuration (you may first test in “Run once” mode).
Also see “While you can test all features of the unregistered version of SiteKiosk for as long as you want, you will have to put up with the following limitations unless you register your SiteKiosk version”:
