Description

when using the configuration menu for the start screen generator. when using the either the ie or chrome it says unable to use please run the repair option. after running the repair option I still get the error. please keep in mind this is in the trial version, as I am waiting for the registration code.

I am sorry for the inconvenience, this is a bug of the latest release version. We are planning on updating the installer today or tomorrow. If you need this feature urgently you may uninstall and use the version SiteKiosk 9.6.4409 instead until an updated version is released.

using the new version I am able to do the configurations. But I am have a issue with Icons not displaying when using the file manager. it will show the icon for a split second when clicking on the file?

Do you see a difference when deactivating the GPU rendering of the IE Webbrowser Control?
For this you need to open the SiteKiosk configuration with an editor (e.g. Notepad) and search for the line 

<ie9-gpu-rendering enabled="true" />

Change the value to false: 

<ie9-gpu-rendering enabled="false" />


SiteKiosk needs to be started twice for this setting to take effect. Save your changes and start SiteKiosk. Right after SiteKiosk starts, close it then start SiteKiosk again and test your issue.
