Support Request: "Application Link" on start screen non-functioning

Description

When using the "Application link" style elements to launch applications, applications will not start; however, they start just fine from the start menu.

The application is added to the applications list in the sitekiosk configuration tool, and again, it launches just fine from the start menu, but does not launch from the "application link" element on the start page.

If it matter, I'm currently only using mouse/keyboard and not touchscreen, if these elements are touch only that might explain it.

Can you open the application from the Start Screen button after clicking the Logout button on the top right? Can you replicate this issue with Notepad as a test?

I can replicate it with notepad. After logging out I can no longer replicate the bug; however, I had to add the logout button back, which we don't intend to keep. Is this the only fix?
