Description

Hello, how can we set Edge as browser? Both IE and Chrome Browser doesn't work for the application we're developing

Hello,

Edge is not support, only IE and Chrome.
Re: Edge as browser 8/29/2019 3:59 PM
Is not correct that Chrome is supported: if we use Google Chrome we're able to access our application but if we use our Chrome browser it doesn't work.

How can we set Google Chrome as your browser?

Hello,

by opening the SiteKiosk configuration, going to Start Page & Browser and select Chrome Browser as Browser-Engine. This will let SiteKiosk use the Chromium engine included in that SiteKiosk version (https://www.provisio.com/en-GB/Downloads/VersionHistory.aspx).

Hello, I understand this "This will let SiteKiosk use the Chromium engine included in that SiteKiosk version" but as explained before our MES application work properly with Google Chrome but it doesn't work with the Chromium engine included in SiteKiosk: I asked you if possible to set Google Chrome as browser: Google Chrome installed on the PC, not the one that comes with SiteKiosk.

Hello,

you can add Google Chrome Browser as an external application (https://www.provisio.com/helpconsole/SiteKiosk%20Help/en-US/default.htm?applications.htm), but this is not recommended as SiteKiosk cannot monitor the surfing activities in an external application, therefore you will loose some of the security features of SiteKiosk.
