Support Request: multi factor authentication prompts with sitekiosk9

Description

Hello,
One of our vendor is getting ready to implement multi steps verification on their website. During our testing of this change on the kiosk, we were not getting the two required prompts.
On the kiosk running windows 7, we were getting just the first prompt, not the second (not error or pop-up received)
On the kiosk running Windows 10, we are getting both prompts.

Both Win7 and Win10 kiosks are running the same sitekiosk version 9, same configuration, same sitekiosk skin (Metro IE skin).

I can send you the vendor url and a test login in a separate email if needed.

Can you please assist on solving this?

Thanks,
bertrand

Hello,

Thank you for sending your test link. I tested your link with a new configuration with no browser restrictions on Windows 7, SiteKiosk 9.7 5232 and I was able to see the two pop ups you mentioned. You could try to review the Advanced Settings under Start Page and Browser (Popup blocker was enabled) or create new configuration for that Win 7 machine. The pop ups seem to be Modal boxes instead of the traditional pop ups. If you are still having difficulties, you could send your configuration file to me for review.

Best regards,
Andre.

Hello,

This is an addition to the nature of the problem discussed. After testing in Web Browser Control (IE Engine) with differing versions of IE, I was able to replicate your problem. Your Windows 7 machine is not rendering IE version 11. Your configuration file is set to render your most recent IE version. My suggestion would be to either update your browser/OS as best as your organization would allow, upgrade to Windows 10 (Win 7 end of support is 1/14/2020 per Microsoft) or choose Chrome (Chromium CEF).

Best Regards,
Andre.
