Support Request: Website not supported?

We are trying, for our local library, to setup your software to work with website:

This doesn't seem to work with default setting "Browser"; page remains black.
When we use "Android App" --> Chrome, it does work, but with limited settings.

is there a way to open this website with your default SiteKiosk browser?

Thanks in advance

Which Android Version do you use?
You may also check the SiteKiosk log (stored locally at ".../SiteKiosk/Logs").

On my test device with SiteKiosk Android 2.9.8143 on Android 8 the page will also display in the SiteKiosk Browser.

By default the Site Kiosk Browser on Android does use the so-called WebView Framework that is based on the pre-installed browser of Android.
So the result with “Standard Browser” in SiteKiosk depends on the Android version with the integrated system browser.

These are the browser engine versions used by WebView on Android:
- pre Android 4.4 -->uses the WebKit Engine (Updates with operating system)
- Android 4.4 --> Chromium Engine 30/33 (Updates with operating system)
- Android 5+ --> Chromium Engine 36+ (Updates via Play Store - Android System Webview)
- Android 7+ --> Chromium Engine 51+ (Updates via Play Store - Chrome)

i'm afraid it's a bit of an old device, Android 4.4.2
Samsung GT-P5220

Any tricks to get it to work with more functions than the Android-App-solution?

Thanks for you quick respons

If you only need to use a full screen browser you can check if it works with the option “Crosswalk” at “-->Application-->Fullscreen Browser-->Browser Engine” in the SiteKiosk Android configuration.
Otherwise I assume that it can only be fixed by an Android update (if possible on the device).
