Support Request: Two monitors

Description

How can I run two monitors with SiteKiosk? Apparently setting Windows Display to duplicate the monitors is overridden by SiteKiosk. Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. You should be able to duplicate your monitors with SiteKiosk. However, if you would would like to have an extended display or be able to display other items on the screen you can review the links below:

-You can display the SiteKiosk Player or SiteCaster content:
https://www.provisio.com/helpconsole/SiteKiosk%20Help/en-US/default.htm?secondmonitor.htm

-You can display browser window across two monitors:
https://devblog.provisio.com/post/2019/11/11/Extend-the-SiteKiosk-Browser-workspace-to-multiple-screens-(Combine-several-screens-to-one-screen).aspx

Normally, you can always drag and drop your windows (multi-window start pages are preferred) if you uncheck "Restrict mouse pointer to first monitor browser area" in Configuration>>Start Page and Browser>>Second Monitor tab.

If these do not help, please let me know.

Best regards,
Andre.

I solved the issue by putting a VGA splitter between the display card and the two monitors. Thank you for your help.

Hello,

Thank you for reporting back. I did not test for an internal and external graphic card with mirrored displays. You made a good choice to simplify with a display duplicator. I will make note of this for future cases.

Best regards,
Andre.
