what do you exactly mean with : “to run a document”?

Can you please provide a description of the necessary steps to reproduce this issue?

hello again
I have gone to \manegement\aplications then i had the file "soffice.exe" of the openoffice and then in the inderectly started programs i have put the soffice.bin.

and when i try to open a .doc file in the file manager apears a windows that says "unhautorized function call"

can you give the steps to put openoffice working in site kiosk!

And now that error desapear but appears a new one!
Apears a windows that says" no aplication configures for this file or running this file is respectively forbidden" when i go to the file manager ,click on the document (.doc) and then click on "run"...

Re: Open Office 7/23/2007 10:02 AM

the easiest way is to make an update to the actual SiteKiosk Version 6.6. In this Version associated Office files (doc, xls, ppt, pps, rtf, sxw, odt, dot, ods, sxc, odp, sxi, ott, stw, otp, sti) will be opened with Microsoft Office and/or OpenOffice automatically (if these applications are installed).

In Version 6.2.51 you have to edit the "Config.xml" in the folder SiteKiosk\Skins\Public\Media\FileManager\XML\.

More information you will find in the SiteKiosk help -->Browser Functions-->File Manager & Burn.
