Support Request: DOT Certificate error

Description

I have an issue with one of the websites http://www.dot..ny.gov/permits that we use on the Site Kiosk box. We are getting a Security Warning - "Certificate Validation error" I can open the link in IE 11 fine I can even run the test link in the smart screen editor and the website opens fine. It's only when I run the configuration and when I click on the links to test that's the only site ( http://www.dot..ny.gov/permits) that comes up with that certificate error. I also turned certificate validation check for server and published in the advanced settings in IE11 still not joy. I then took it a step further and turned it off on GPO under both User and Computer configuration (GP > Computer and User configuration templates> Windows Configuration> internet explorer > Turn Off The Security Settings Check Feature) I have upload my .config file please assist I think it's a bug with your software... and is there a way to fix it?

The message you are receiving comes from IE (Webbrowser Control). You should check the web page in the Internet Explorer at the same Windows User account you run SiteKiosk in.

Information about SiteKiosk and certificates:

When I try to navigate to the link below in Internet Explorer I get the generic "Page cannot be displayed" error. These issues will have to be resolved before it will work as expected in the SiteKiosk Browser.

Information regarding the SiteKiosk Browser

The SiteKiosk browser is based on the Microsoft web browser control. This is not the Internet Explorer but uses the core browser features of the Internet Explorer that’s installed on your machine. The SiteKiosk Browser uses the same platform "The Microsoft Web Browse control" as other third party applications which have their own proprietary browser but wish to use the core features of the Internet Explorer that is installed on the computer:

For testing it in the Internet Explorer Web browser Control (outside / without SiteKiosk) you can download this ZIP from our web page and then execute the exe after extracting the files (you do not need to install anything):
