Support Request: Persistent Security Alert
Reproduction
I'm not sure what information is supposed to go here.
Recently we have been upgrading our kiosk software from version 7 to version 9. At first everything was going smoothly but this week we upgraded a kiosk and started seeing a ton of Security Alert popups when loading the homepage. The error reads: Title: Security Alert, Body: Revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not available. Do you want to proceed?, Options: Yes, No, View Certificate. Initially, I tried going through the View Certificate option. This showed me the certificate information for the homepage. I had the option to import the certificate, which I followed and get a message that says the certificate was successfully imported. At that point the SiteKiosk software restarts itself and we are back to reloading the homepage and getting the barrage of Security Alert popups again. I found that if you keep clicking Yes on all of the popups, the page will eventually load. The popups continue to pop up, however, every 30 seconds to a minute. While we started seeing these popups on the one computer we upgraded the software on, we started looking at our other kiosks and are seeing that now these popups are present on other kiosks as well and behave in the same manner. I read on a support forum that this can be cleared by opening a browser from the SiteKiosk profile in Windows and load up the homepage. I tried this but the SiteKiosk profile on Windows is so locked down that Internet Explorer cannot be opened. A message pops up that says something to the affect that the action is not allowed via group policy. I am able to log into other Windows profiles on the same machine and pull up the homepage without issue, no security popups or errors of any kind. Attached is a copy of the requested log files as well as a screenshot or the Security Alert popup.
