Support Request: Proxy Authentication Doesn't Work

Hi,

Proxy authentication doesn't work. It hits our proxy and then I am required to enter credentials at the start of every session. We are using Sophos UTM and have double checked the credentials used to connect and they work outside of the SiteKiosk browser.

Hello,
please provide a step-by-step description of what you do and what the effect is and what you expect. The above description can be interpreted to the effect that authentication does not work at all or that it works but you need to do it again at the start of every session.

And when you say they work outside of the SiteKiosk browser, this refers to what browsers exactly? Plus have you checked outside of SiteKiosk with the same user you run SiteKiosk under?

Please be aware of that the automatic proxy authentication you can configure in the SiteKiosk configuration only works for the http protocol. The start page you have configured in SiteKiosk is set to http but automatically redirects to https.
