Support Request: Issue With Opening Hyperlinks Within PDF

Description

I was wondering if there is a way possible within Sitekiosk to allow within a PDF an Hyperlink to be opened, the issue I am experiencing with the current config, when going through the Join Club section and go through all the sections, once it gets to the terms and conditions, when selecting the terms and conditions, this launches a PDF and within the PDF there are 3 hyperlinks, when I press them, nothing happens

Hello,

Currently opening links in displayed PDF documents is not possible with Chrome Browser skin as it doesn’t work in version 59 of the Chromium CEF engine that SiteKiosk 9.6 does use.

It will work with forthcoming SiteKiosk version 9.7 because it contains a newer Chromium CEF engine.
The release of SiteKiosk 9.7 is planned within the next 2-3 weeks (but no guarantee).

Meanwhile you can switch to an IE based Skin (e.g. Metro IE) where it works (as you activated the full screen mode the user of the kiosk terminal even shouldn’t see any difference).
But note that you need to make sure that the adobe reader is installed so that PDFs can be displayed in Internet Explorer.
