Support Request: Can i use the 9.7.5026 with my license?

Hello, i have a purchase invoice by my Kiosk reseller dated 11 april 2018 with this code:no license information in publicforum please /Admin.
I see on your site that the 9.7.5026 version has been released on 11 april 2019, exactly on year after.
Is my license valid for 9.7.5026 version?

Hi,

the whole month of your purchase is included in the timespan for maintenance, so the license is valid for that version.

Sorry, one more question?
I would like to update a pc with SitKiosk to Windows 1809 version.
Which is the best way: have i to update the Sitekiosk software before? or better update Windows before.

Hello,

As this is a complete system update I would advise to also reinstall SiteKiosk after the update.
Proceed as follows:
1. Backup the SiteKiosk configuration file(s) under "...\SiteKiosk\Config" (they usually remain with a default uninstallation but only to be sure)
2. Uninstall the SiteKiosk (-->Control Panel-->Programs and Features)
3. Do the Windows update
4. When finished install the most current SiteKiosk version (https://www.provisio.com/en-GB/Downloads/VersionHistory.aspx)
5. When the installation has finished call the configuration tool to update the SiteKiosk configuration file.
It is also advisable to first test in "Start once" mode before activating the "Auto Start" mode again.
